Dosing Modes

Two ways to dose

Panel A

Daily

Set a first dose time. Add an optional second dose if your regimen calls for it. That is the whole setup.

Panel B

On-demand, 2-1-1

Log a dose and Protecht builds the follow-up sequence: 2 pills, then 1 pill, then 1 pill, each at the right time. You see exactly where you are in the sequence.

Which regimen is right for you is a conversation with your provider. Protecht follows the schedule you are already on.

Regimens

Built for PrEP and doxyPEP

Daily dosing fits a PrEP routine. On-demand 2-1-1 fits doxyPEP, taken around the time of sex. Protecht never asks you to enter a drug name, only the schedule you and your provider settled on.

Notifications stay discreet. On your lock screen, a reminder just says it’s time. It doesn’t say what for.

Refill Tracker

Running out is the most common reason a routine breaks

Last fill date.

When you picked it up.

Days supply.

How long it lasts.

Remind before I run out.

Set your own lead time, 5 days by default.

Pharmacy contact.

Save the number so refilling is one tap.

Protecht counts down for you.

Why It’s Different

Why it lives in a sexual health app

One routine, one place.

PrEP means quarterly testing. Your doses and your testing schedule sit in the same Care tab, not two unrelated apps.

Verified results, same app.

When you test, the result comes back from your provider’s record, ready to share.

On your device.

Reminders are local. Protecht’s servers hold no health information at all.

Protecht stores no protected health information on its servers. Your records are encrypted on your phone using AES-256-GCM and the Apple Secure Enclave.

FAQ

Questions about medication reminders

On-demand 2-1-1 is a dosing pattern some people use around the time of sex: 2 pills at the start, then 1 pill 24 hours later, then 1 pill 24 hours after that. Whether this pattern applies to you is a decision between you and your provider.

Protecht does not provide medical advice, dosing guidance, or a diagnosis. Talk to your healthcare provider about your medication and testing schedule.

Set your dosing schedule once, and forget the math.
